1. Agreement

These Terms are an agreement between you and Kandlo LLC ("Kandlo", "we", "us"). By using the Kandlo app or this website, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use Kandlo.

2. What Kandlo is

Kandlo is a trading-education app. It teaches chart reading through short lessons, focused concept drills, simulated chart challenges, Rapid Fire rounds, and a progression system with leaderboards.

In a chart challenge, a setup arrives with its training levels — a take profit and a stop loss — already placed. Your task is to judge which one price reaches first.

The charts in Kandlo are simulated for training. They are generated by Kandlo to behave like real markets so that you can practise safely. They are not live market data. They are not a record of real trading, and any dates or times shown on them are not real market timestamps. No real trade is ever placed.

3. Education, not financial services

This is the most important section in this document.

Kandlo is an educational platform only. To be specific about what that means:

• Kandlo does not provide financial advice.
• Kandlo does not provide individualized investment recommendations, and nothing in it is tailored to your personal circumstances.
• Kandlo does not provide real-money trading services.
• Kandlo does not execute trades or route orders.
• Kandlo does not hold, transfer or manage your money or assets.
• Kandlo does not provide trading signals.

The chart exercises in Kandlo are simulated educational exercises. No activity inside Kandlo places a real trade.

Everything in Kandlo — its content, its scoring, your rating, accuracy, streaks and leaderboard position — is for educational and practice purposes. It is a score in a training exercise.

Nothing in Kandlo guarantees trading success, financial returns, or future market performance. Trading real markets carries risk, including the risk of losing money, and decisions you make in real markets are yours alone.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Kandlo.

If you have not reached the age of legal majority where you live, you may use Kandlo only with consent from a parent or legal guardian where applicable law requires it.

Kandlo does not currently verify your age, and it does not currently verify a parent or guardian's identity or consent. That does not make the rule optional.

Kandlo is currently intended for users in the United States, and is not currently being launched or actively marketed to users in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. You are responsible for using Kandlo only where doing so is lawful for you.

5. Accounts and guest use

You can try part of Kandlo without an account. Other parts — including lessons, concept drills, Rapid Fire, leaderboards and subscriptions — require one.

You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in method, and for activity on your account. If you choose a username, it may be shown to other users on leaderboards.

If you create an account after playing as a guest, your guest progress is imported once. Imported results are recorded as guest results and are excluded from some leaderboards, because they were scored on a device rather than by our servers.

6. Free and Pro features

Kandlo offers some features and content without a subscription. Kandlo Pro provides access to additional features and content.

What is available without a subscription, and any limits that apply, are shown in the app. Some content is still being written; where that is the case, Kandlo says so and it cannot be started.

Kandlo Pro is access to Kandlo as it exists while your subscription is active. It is not a promise that any particular future feature, lesson or release will be delivered, or delivered on any date.

7. Subscriptions and billing

Where it is offered, Kandlo Pro is an auto-renewing subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, not from us directly.

• The store's purchase screen is what controls the actual price, the currency, the billing details and the renewal information for your purchase. The price shown there, in your local currency, is the price you pay.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until they are cancelled. Cancel through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
• Cancelling stops the next renewal. Pro access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Refund requests are generally handled under the relevant store's own policies and process. If you need help finding that process, contact Kandlo support and we will point you to it.
• If your subscription lapses or expires, Pro content locks again. Your progress is not deleted.

We use RevenueCat to manage subscription and entitlement state, but your purchase is made with the store.

8. Kandles and progress

Kandles are an in-app progression and reward measure. Kandles, ratings, streaks, achievements and leaderboard positions are features of the app.

They have no monetary value. They are not redeemable for cash or anything else, and they are not transferable between users.

Resetting your progress in the app clears them. Deleting your account removes them.

9. Acceptable use

Use Kandlo to learn. Do not:

• attempt unauthorized access to Kandlo's systems or accounts;
• manipulate scores, ratings, streaks, leaderboards, usage limits or access controls;
• use automation designed to cheat the service, to defeat free-attempt limits, or to reach a challenge outcome before you lock in your call;
• scrape, copy, republish or redistribute Kandlo's lessons, concept explanations, coaching text or chart content, except where the law permits it.

These are the restrictions Kandlo actually needs. We have not added a general list of prohibited activities that Kandlo has no way to host.

10. Intellectual property

Kandlo, its software, its lesson and concept content, its coaching text, its chart generation, its name and its marks belong to Kandlo. You get a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Kandlo for your own learning. That licence does not include any right to redistribute Kandlo's content.

If you choose a username, you allow Kandlo to display it in places such as leaderboards as part of providing the service.

11. Third-party services

Kandlo relies on third parties to run: authentication, hosting and data storage, notification delivery, subscription management, and the two app stores. Where one of them is unavailable, part of Kandlo may be unavailable too.

Purchases you make through the Apple App Store or Google Play are also subject to that store's own terms.

12. Service changes and availability

Kandlo will change over time. We may add, change or remove features, and we may change what is available without a subscription, what Pro includes, and the price of a subscription. Changes apply going forward. Any subscription you buy still shows its current price and terms at the store before you confirm it.

Kandlo may be unavailable at times. We do not promise uninterrupted availability.

13. Ending your use

You can stop using Kandlo at any time. You can delete your account from Profile → Account → Delete account, or by asking us — see the Account Deletion page. Deletion is permanent and removes your progress.

Deleting your Kandlo account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel that through the store.

We may change, discontinue or restrict the service, or access to it, where that is reasonably necessary for security, to prevent abuse, or to operate the service, subject to applicable law.

14. Disclaimers

Kandlo is educational software, provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not give warranties that Kandlo will be available, uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not warrant any educational, trading or financial outcome from using it.

15. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Kandlo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising out of your use of Kandlo.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit. Mandatory consumer rights and protections differ from country to country. If you have consumer rights that cannot be waived where you live, these Terms do not remove or reduce them, and where these Terms conflict with such a right, that right applies.

16. Changes to these Terms

If we change these Terms we will update the date at the top of this page, and we will make significant changes clear in the app.
